Devlopmental Disabilities Awareness Month 2024
Every March the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities seeks to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all facets of community life, as well as awareness of the barriers that people with disabilities still sometimes face in connecting to the communities in which they live.

March 1: Upload a Cover Photo That Celebrates Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month to your social media.

March 6: Make a charitable donation to a disability organization.

March 11: Take a picture at the NEDHSA Developmental Disabilities Mural (location: 2324 Armand Connector) and post to social media. Tag the FHFNELA and Northeast Delta HSA’s Facebook pages.

March 13: Download the Vision Sim app (free) for iOS by the Braille Institute to learn about living with visual impairments.
