Families Helping Families of Northeast Louisiana is working diligently to be a part of the COVID-19 solution in creating a healthy and safe office, home, and community for our FHF Family and all of the individuals with disabilities and their families that we serve. We genuinely care about your well-being and want to continue to support you in all the ways we can.
As Families Helping Families of Northeast Louisiana is taking COVID-19 seriously and want to ensure you know how we are handling the situation to keep our staff, their families and you safe, effective Monday, March 23, 2020, we are implementing Phase II of our Pandemic Response Plan.
Effective at 5pm on Monday, March 23, 2020, our office will be closed to all outside visitors and guests, until further notice. Our staff will begin working remotely from their homes. We may return your call from a phone number you don’t recognize during this time.
The support, resources, and information that we've always offered will continue but in a little different way. We understand that families need more support than ever through this crisis. Since we are not able to offer face-to-face support during this pandemic, our staff will be here to help you M-F 8am-4pm until we are able to return to having guests at our center and events in the community once again. You can still call us at 318.361.0487 or email us at sguidry@fhfnela.org, and we will be able to assist you via phone, email, or Zoom. Don't forget you can also message us on Facebook and please follow us on Facebook, too. Because we are going to begin some new and creative ways to bring you resources along with fun and creative activities, it is important to continue receiving our emails and Facebook posts. We will also continue to provide any of our scheduled on-line trainings along with some really neat family-friendly activities.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and make sure you are getting the information we receive, especially information that would be most helpful for families living with disabilities and healthcare challenges. We will post updates on our email, social media, and website.
Our prayer would be that you, your family, and friends remain safe through these extraordinary times and remember that we are here for you just as we always have been and together we will get through this.
Should you have any questions or needs during this time, we are a phone call away and will do everything in our power to assist you and your family.
Sincerely,
Stacey Guidry
